Prison Ministry at Shiloh

The Prison Ministry at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church is dedicated to serving those who are incarcerated by providing outreach, spiritual guidance, and hope through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As part of the Coalition of Churches in Prison Ministries (COCiPM) in the DFW area, we strive to bring light and encouragement to those behind prison walls.

Letters of Inspiration

This ministry offers a meaningful opportunity to connect with a TDCJ inmate through uplifting correspondence, sharing scriptures of hope and encouragement. All communication is handled using SMBC’s contact information, ensuring a secure and supportive exchange. Your words can make a powerful impact—bringing light, faith, and comfort to someone in need.

COCIPM’s Gift of Light Christmas Ministry

Each year, we work to brighten the holiday season for our brothers in prison by decorating and filling care bags with essential hygiene items, fruit, small candies, and a spiritual Christmas message. Donations from our church family and community allow us to continue this meaningful service.

To make donations, please make checks to CoCiPM and mail to SMBC Prison Ministry, 920 14th Street, Plano, TX 75074.
