Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church is excited to share a Scholarship Opportunity through Pearls of Power (POP) in conjunction with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. – Delta Alpha Alpha Zeta Chapter. This initiative provides financial assistance to students in Collin County, Texas, empowering them to achieve educational success and economic independence.
We are pleased to announce that 7 scholarships are available for graduating seniors from schools in Frisco, Fairview, Plano, Prosper, and Allen.

2025 Black History Month Essay Contest – Submissions Now Open!
We’re excited to announce that submissions are now open for the 2025 Black History Month Essay Contest! This year’s theme, “Consequential Beats: Exploring the Role of Music in the Fight for Social Justice,” invites students to dive into the powerful connection between music and social justice movements throughout history.
Eligibility
This contest is open to current 9th-grade male students in the Dallas Metroplex.
Prizes
- 1st Place: $500 monetary award
- 2nd Place: $250 monetary award
Submission Deadline
All essays must be submitted by February 14, 2025, at 11:59 PM CST.
